Season’s Graffitings!

December 21, 2010 by Lonnie Lardner

Street art — at home:

I couldn’t resist “dressing up” the walls for the holidays… and for those of you asking…this was, in fact, an Adobe Photoshop effect inserted next to a shot of me, can in hand, in my living room. Some friends had a hard time believing that I really didn’t spray-paint graffiti on my wall, and to that I say — I tried antiviral that once, in a rental house, and ended up losing a $1500 deposit to a landlord with no sense of humor.

Here’s what we did: We masked out the white sofa, and dropped in the graffiti art above it. Everything on the right is real, including the curious cat, “Ducky.” The wild art above the couch was originally photographed in Wichita, Kansas, by martianmermaid.
