If I were a mechanic, I would own the finest pry bars, pliers and socket sets. They would hold an honored place in my garage, and be treated with love and respect. If I were a carpenter (insert next lyric here) I would cherish every bench hook and backsaw, biscuit joiner and lathe. I particularly like saying “biscuit joiner.”
But I’m an artist, and the day my mother brought home my first sampler set of Liquitex acrylic paints, I knew I had begun a lifetime love affair with the tools of my trade.
That feeling comes back every time I receive fresh supplies at my door. The excitement is hard to contain. And today, it came in the form of seriously dope — radically different — graffiti markers that drip. Really drip. They are made by a company called DRIP MACHINE which specializes in paints made exclusively for street artists and well, for those of us aspiring vandals. (Just kidding….or am I?)
The colors pop — and flow flawlessly on sleek surfaces. You can learn techniques from “Graffiti School” on their website demos, and then design your own stickers super fast. And if you’re anything like me (always loving cool bonus sh*t ) order something and check out DM’s personal touch: a handwritten Thank You note, flanked by a perfectly appropriate “DON’T BE A DICK” warning.
